MY GOALS AND INTENDING ACHIEVEMENTS FOR HNG INTERNSHIP 8.
Every journey starts with a defined purpose or goal. Your Goal is like the traveler’s map, it gives you a clear direction of where you are and where you want to be. And it keeps you focused and motivated.
In this Article, I would love to share with you my goals for joining HNG internship 8 and what I will achieve when I become a finalist 💃. I have been selected for the Front-end Developer Track/Stack.
Did you know about HNG Internships?
Maybe you are hearing ‘HNG Internship’ for the first time. Don’t worry I will tell you about it 😇.
HNG or Zuri Internship is a large-scale virtual internship for people learning to code and design. It is rated as one of the biggest virtual internships in Africa, its goal is to enable participants learn and improve their skills by working on real-world projects.
The program kicks off in August (I guess🙆♀) each year, from stage 1 where participants are assigned a task to complete through 9 other stages. Their promotion to the next stage is dependent on their completion of the previous stage. The internship last for a duration of 2–3months which at the end finalists will have access to Zuri network comprising of past finalists, job opportunities, occasional stipends (depending on your performance during the internship) etc. Click HERE to join or learn more about the internship.
Now Let’s Talk About My Goals for The Internship.
I feel excited🕺 to share the following goals with you:
· Meet and network with new friends who love coding.
· Improve my critical and problem-solving skills.
· Become a better Front-End Web Developer.
· Improve my portfolio via completed projects
· Become a better team player.
· Wear HNG T-SHIRT; Wearing the branded HNG T-SHIRT brands me as a finalist and speaks a lot about my resilience and hardwork.
Things I would love to Achieve as a Finalist.
I intend to achieve the following as a finalist of the internship:
· To be gainfully employed as a software (Front-end) developer
· Offer mentorship to other participants
